Steven Miles has extensive experience in government and public policy, currently serving as the Premier of the Queensland Government since February 2015. Throughout the tenure, Steven Miles has held various significant positions including Minister for State Development, Infrastructure, Planning and Local Government, Deputy Premier, and Minister for Health and Ambulance Services. Prior to this, Steven Miles represented the Mount Coot-tha electorate in the Queensland Parliament from February 2015 to January 2017. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Reveille Strategy and National Campaign Director at United Voice. Steven Miles holds a PhD in Political Science and Government and a BA in Journalism and Political Science from The University of Queensland.
