Wei Du is a seasoned professional in program management and community empowerment, currently serving as the Public Program Manager at Queens Botanical Garden since April 2023. Prior to this, Wei held the role of Senior Program Manager at Street Lab from March 2019 to April 2023, overseeing staffing and logistics for pop-up events. Wei's extensive experience includes positions such as Program and Operations Manager at Sure We Can, where responsibilities involved various outreach initiatives, and Community Empowerment Coordinator at Poplar HARCA, focusing on supporting local youth in governance roles. Wei has also worked as Project Coordinator for Living Streets, delivering public realm projects, and held roles at the Chinese Mental Health Association and the Chinese Association of Tower Hamlets, emphasizing community services and support for marginalized populations. Wei holds an MA in Global Citizenship, Migration and Human Rights from the University of Nottingham and a BSc in Applied Sociology from London Metropolitan University.
