Christopher Nelson is an experienced library and education professional with a strong background in community library management, English instruction, and library services. Currently serving as the Assistant Community Library Manager at Woodside Branch of Queens Public Library since October 2019, Christopher previously held similar roles at Peninsula Branch and served as a General Librarian. Christopher’s extensive experience includes part-time positions at Berkeley College and teaching English as a Foreign Language at Southern Taiwan University of Technology. Earlier roles encompass significant positions at Diwan College of Management, Plainfield Public Library, Middlesex County College, and The New York Public Library, where Christopher developed programs to enhance community engagement and library services. Christopher holds a Master of Library Science from St. John's University, a Master of Arts in History from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Seton Hall University.
