Joanna Tiernay (Assoc CIPD) has extensive experience in human resources and training, currently serving as the Head of HR and Training, as well as Head of Quality and Value at Quarter since April 2006. Joanna collaborates with managers across ten units to address HR and employee relations matters while ensuring the organization’s operations align with business and employee interests. Previously, Joanna managed the Washington Guest House, achieving revenue and KPI targets, and held various culinary positions at Historic House Hotels of the National Trust and von Essen hotels, advancing from Commis Chef to Sous Chef. Educational qualifications include a Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Avado, an Advanced Diploma in Food and Wine from Leith's School of Food and Wine, and a degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Edinburgh.
