Toan Nguyen has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Toan started their career as a PC Technician at Flextronix International in 2003 and worked there until 2005. Toan then joined Savi Technology as a Test Technician from 2005 to 2007. Following that, Toan worked as a Process and Data Technician at Solyndra from 2007 to 2011. Since 2013, they have been employed at QuantumScape as a Senior Research and Development Technician. In this role, Toan contributes to the formulation and development of Cathode and Anode electrode preparations. Toan is responsible for operating and maintaining process equipment, collecting experiment samples, and conducting physical analysis tests.

Toan Nguyen obtained a certification in MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) from Asher College in 2012-2013. Later, in 2013, they attended California State University - East Bay, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to these credentials, Toan attended De Anza College from 1995 to 1998, focusing on general education.
