Sam Bhatt is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry and manufacturing, currently serving as Director of Manufacturing at QuantuMDx since May 2015. Prior roles at QuantuMDx include Manufacturing Operations Manager, Programme Manager, Project Manager, Senior Scientist, and Research Scientist. Prior to this, Sam held a Research Associate position at Newcastle University from September 2011 to May 2015, focusing on oligonucleotide labeling for positron-emission tomography, specifically in the treatment of muscular dystrophy with ongoing clinical trials. Sam also served as a PhD Candidate, specializing in organic chemistry and radiopharmaceuticals, and chaired the School of Chemistry Postgraduate Committee, enhancing postgraduate training and integration within the academic community. Sam holds a PhD in the Synthesis of Radiopharmaceuticals and an MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry, both from Newcastle University.
