Brian Reed has had extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Brian began their career in 2010 at Ion Torrent by Life Technologies, where they served as a Senior Staff Scientist and Group Leader until 2014. In 2014, they joined Quantum-Si as a Principal Scientist, a role they held until 2019. Finally, they took on the position of Head of Research at Quantum-Si in 2019.

Brian Reed attended Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2010, they pursued their higher education at Yale University, ultimately earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology.
