Pat Scott has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They are currently working as a Software Lead at Quantum Brilliance since 2022. In this role, they have led a team of 5 remote software engineers, managed the development and release of the Qristal full-stack quantum software development kit, and collaborated with C-level executives on product and tech activities.
Prior to that, Pat worked at The University of Queensland from 2019 to 2022. They held the position of ARC Future Fellow Step 2 (Associate Professor) and Senior Lecturer in Physics. Pat Scott earned a BSc (Double Hons) in Astrophysics and Neuroscience from The Australian National University in 2005. Later, Pat pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theoretical Physics from Stockholm University and completed it in 2010.
