Roman Degtiarev is an experienced professional in data science and bioinformatics, currently serving as Managing Partner and Head of Data Science at Quantum Brains since May 2016. Prior to this role, Roman was Head of Data Analysis at BIOCAD from September 2014 to May 2016, where responsibilities included project management and data mining. Earlier experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Engineer at BIOCAD and Parseq Lab s.r.o., focusing on biological data processing and next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Roman began a career as a Software Engineer at ЭнергоПромАвтоматизация, developing SCADA systems. Roman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
