Lead Network Engineer at Quantium

Benjamin Cafe has a solid background in network engineering and unified communications. Their most recent role was as the Lead Network Engineer at Quantium, where they have been working since October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Network Engineer at the same company from November 2017 to October 2021. Prior to their time at Quantium, Benjamin served as a Network/UC Engineer at Cliftons from May 2016 to November 2017. In this position, they were responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the internal infrastructure across multiple office and restaurant locations in the Asia Pacific region. Benjamin Cafe completed their education at the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended Port Macquarie High School from 2001 to 2006, receiving a Higher School Certificate in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin Cafe has obtained several certifications. Benjamin became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate in January 2023, acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022, and obtained the Palo Alto Networks System Engineer Professional - Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) certification from Palo Alto Networks in June 2022. Moreover, they attained the Palo Alto Networks System Engineer (PSE)- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Associate certification in May 2022, the Small Business Technical Overview certification from Cisco in March 2022, and the Palo Alto Networks Micro-Credential for Remote network Administrator in January 2022. Further, they completed the Palo Alto Networks Micro-Credential for Remote user Administrator in September 2021 and became a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator in August 2021. Finally, Benjamin obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in December 2019.
