Ali Pourdad, CA, has a strong and diverse work experience. Ali is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Quantfury, a global brokerage that offers commission-free trading and investing. Ali has been with Quantfury since April 2021. Ali also serves as an Advisor to the company since March 2018.

Before joining Quantfury, Ali worked as a Private Investor at Pourdad Capital Partners, a Bahamas-based family office that invests in and advises high-potential businesses and entrepreneurs. Ali has been with the company since October 2017.

Prior to that, Ali had significant roles at Progressa, a leading Fintech company based in Vancouver. Ali served as a Member of the Board of Directors from April 2013 to September 2020 and also played the role of Co-Founder & CEO from June 2013 to August 2019.

Ali also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Merchant Growth, a company providing non-dilutive financing solutions for small businesses, from June 2017 to August 2020. Additionally, they were a Co-Chair of the Advocacy & Regulatory Committee at the Canadian Lenders Association from December 2018 to September 2019.

Earlier in their career, Ali worked as a Director & Chief Executive Officer at Creditloans Canada Capital Inc. from April 2014 to August 2019. Ali also held the position of Manager - Corporate Insolvency & Restructuring at G - Force Group from April 2010 to June 2013.

Ali began their professional journey as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 2006 to April 2010. During their time at PwC, they gained experience in equipment and loan portfolio valuations, audit controls, and project management for various sectors, including forestry, mining, energy/utilities, financial services, and restaurant services.

Ali Pourdad, CA has a diverse education history. Ali began their education in 2000 at Simon Fraser University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance in 2004. In 2006, they attended the Chartered Accountants School of Business and earned a degree in Chartered Accountancy, specializing in Accounting and Finance. That same year, they also studied Accounting at The University of British Columbia. Finally, in 2010, Ali attended the Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Professionals and completed a degree in Insolvency & Restructuring.
