Neal McLoughlin has a strong background in engineering and product development. Neal started their career at Microvisk Technologies in 2008 as a Development Scientist focusing on MEMS cantilevers for in-vitro diagnostics. Neal then moved to Philips in 2013 as a Systems Engineer, where they worked on advanced breath-activated vibrating mesh nebulizers. Neal joined 3M in 2017 as a Senior Evaluation Scientist before transitioning to a role at Vectura Group plc. in 2019 as a Senior Manager in Software and Electronics. Currently, they are the Lead System Engineer at Quanta Dialysis Technologies, starting in 2022.

Neal McLoughlin attended Cardinal Newman High School from 1994 to 2000. Neal then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from the University of St Andrews from 2000 to 2004.
