Mahyar Fotoohi has extensive experience in global partnerships and business development within the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as the Global Partnerships lead at Quanser since June 2018, Mahyar orchestrates alliances that drive hardware solutions to academic institutions while identifying investment opportunities to enhance the educational technology landscape. Previous roles at Quanser included Regional Manager for APAC and EMEIA, where Mahyar developed teams and executed business strategies, and Far East Channel Manager, generating revenue across 11 Asia-Pacific countries. Prior experience also includes a stint as Customer Development Manager at Formlabs, co-founding Unified Computer Intelligence Corporation, and a range of positions within Quanser focused on sales, product management, and R&D. Mahyar holds an M.A.Sc. in Haptics, Robotics, and Mechatronics from McMaster University and a B.Sc. in Telecommunications from Shiraz University.
