Michael J. Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael J. began their career at Valencia Community College as an Adjunct Professor in 2000, teaching until 2006. In 1998, they joined Progress Energy as a Lead Engineer, where they were responsible for overseeing the transmission system protection and controls. After almost nine years at Progress Energy, Michael became the President of Power Grid Engineering, LLC in 2007, a prominent electrical engineering firm serving the utility industry.
