Alice Truong is currently a Genomics Facility Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Francisco State University, teaching courses in General Biology 1 and Disease Ecology. Alice has also taken on roles as a Summer Coding Immersion Program Coordinator and Promoting Inclusivity in Computing (PINC) Mentor at Quality Respite and Home Care, Inc., while serving as a caretaker. Previous experiences include positions as a Student Researcher and Student Research Assistant focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion content at the University of the Pacific, as well as working as a Field Sampler at The Wine Group and a BRAINterns Ambassador at Lenox Hill Neurosurgery. Alice began academic tutoring at Kumon North America, Inc. in 2015. Alice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Integrative Biology at San Francisco State University.
