Vanessa Rendon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vanessa started their career as an Aggregates Quality Control Internship Trainee at Cemex Venezuela. Vanessa then worked as an Aggregates Quality Control Technician and later became an Aggregates Research and Development Analyst, responsible for consolidation and analysis of variances in quality control tests. Vanessa then moved on to become an Aggregates Plants Operations Coordinator, where they consolidated daily and monthly production reports and supported budget development.
Vanessa then transitioned to Inversiones Omigroup as a Concrete Ready-Mix Plant Manager, overseeing the production of concrete for various construction projects. Following that, they joined Proyectos TOAR as an Operations Manager, specializing in design and management construction projects.
Vanessa then worked at INGEDACA as a Purchasing Manager, responsible for supervising and supporting purchasing activities. Vanessa also served as a Project Manager, where they planned and controlled engineering projects for various clients, and later became an Operations Project Manager, overseeing the execution of eight engineering projects.
Vanessa's experience in the concrete industry continued at Adonel Concrete, where they initially worked as a Concrete Ready-Mix Batcher Operator and later became a Concrete Ready-Mix Plant Manager, leading and managing the operation of a concrete plant.
More recently, Vanessa joined Pre-Cast Specialties as a Precast Projects & Production Process Engineer. Their responsibilities included analyzing budget performance, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities, and proposing strategies to reduce costs and improve production and installation processes.
Currently, Vanessa holds the position of Director of Operations at Quality Enterprises USA, Inc.
Vanessa Rendon obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. Vanessa later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at IESA from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Vanessa has also obtained several certifications. Vanessa became an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I in February 2023 through the American Concrete Institute. In May 2022, they obtained their FAA License Part 107 from the Federal Aviation Administration. Furthermore, in July 2019, Vanessa acquired the Concrete Batch Plant Operator certification from the Florida Department of Transportation.
