Jill Watz serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Quaise Energy since April 2022 and as a Board Member for the HOTROCK Energy Research Organization, where the focus is on advancing Superhot Rock geothermal energy. As Managing Director of AltaRock Energy since June 2020, Jill Watz is dedicated to developing technology for SuperHot Geothermal resources. Additionally, Jill has been Managing Director at Ascian Technology Advisors, LLC, since 2012, providing advisory services in the Cleantech and Agtech sectors. Jill held the position of Independent Board Director at AMCI Group from August 2021 to February 2023, contributing to mergers and acquisitions aimed at decarbonization efforts. Previous roles include Microgrid Business Advisor at Electric Vine Industries, Board Observer at Siluria Technologies, and Corporate Development at KMX Membrane Technologies. Jill Watz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego and two S.M. degrees in Environmental and Civil Engineering and in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
