Sujit Das has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. SUJIT started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at M/s. Fabtech Works & Constructions, where they trained the manufacturing team in continuous improvement and identified enhancements to work methods. SUJIT then worked as an Industrial Engineer Intern at JINDHAL SOUTH WEST (STEEL), where they focused on reducing inventory carrying costs and finding supply chain improvements.
After that, Sujit worked at the University of Texas at Arlington as a Monograph Acquisition Assistant, where they were responsible for cataloging and marking new monographic material. SUJIT then joined Geometric Ltd. as a Manufacturing-Industrial Engineer for Caterpillar Inc, where they evaluated manufacturing processes, developed new process modifications, and implemented them into existing operations. SUJIT also worked on a Six Sigma project for standard work optimization.
Sujit's next role was at Carlex, where they served as a Quality Engineer and later as a Manufacturing-Process Engineer. SUJIT monitored and improved methods and procedures, developed complete and accurate procedures for safe and efficient production, and collaborated with process engineering and manufacturing plants on new product launches.
Following this, Sujit joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a Supplier Quality Engineer and later as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. SUJIT successfully launched new programs and implemented read across for improvements to reduce warranty. SUJIT also developed quality planning for new product launches and managed all aspects of Supplier Quality functions.
Prior to their current role, Sujit worked at Stellantis as a Global Commodity Lead, and now they are currently a Technical Lead-Supplier Quality at Lucid Motors. In this role, they are working on new and upcoming programs in developing new automotive glazing and metallic coatings. SUJIT is also guiding upfront design development and leading APQP and design review processes.
