Joshua Goodfellow has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joshua most recently worked at Quadrature in a strategic growth position starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were an executive recruiter at Meta, where they led engineering leadership hiring for Facebook's Privacy, Integrity, Infrastructure, and WhatsApp organizations in London from September 2019 to January 2023.
Joshua also has experience at Amazon, where they served as a senior technical recruiter for Alexa from February 2019 to August 2019. Before that, they were a talent partner at Improbable, where they were responsible for hiring engineering and engineering leadership for the company's core platform during a period of hyper growth from October 2017 to January 2019.
In 2016, Joshua joined Amazon as a technical recruiter for Alexa, where they played a key role in scaling the engineering organization and delivering key hires to enable Alexa to speak multiple languages.
Prior to their roles at Amazon, Joshua worked at Hays as a senior IT recruitment consultant and IT recruitment consultant from January 2016 to June 2016 and from March 2015 to December 2015, respectively. Joshua also served as an associate IT consultant from June 2014 to February 2015.
Joshua began their career at UK Pro Solutions as a project manager, where they worked on a contract basis with the Commercial Bank of Kuwait. Joshua was responsible for capturing the scope of the bank's products and services and implementing process improvements using Six Sigma methodology. This project resulted in significant cost reductions for the bank's retail banking division. Their tenure at UK Pro Solutions lasted from October 2013 to June 2014.
Joshua Goodfellow attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School from 2002 to 2009. Joshua then went on to study Computer Science at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in the field of Data Science. Joshua completed courses such as "Databases and SQL for Data Science," "Data Science Methodology," "Python for Data Science and AI," and "Open Source tools for Data Science" from Coursera in 2020.
