Sijie Ran is an experienced magnetic engineer currently working at Quadrant Solutions since January 2022. In addition to this role, Sijie serves as Chair and previously as Vice Chair/Program Chair for the local chapter of the IEEE Magnetics Society, a joint chapter between San Francisco and Santa Clara Valley, since January 2023. Prior experience includes a researcher position at Bionaut Labs, where Sijie designed and built electromagnetic systems for biomedical applications, and extensive research at Drexel University, culminating in a PhD in Electrical Engineering, with projects focusing on medical robotics and device development. Sijie's research contributions also span various institutions, exploring advancements in magnetic control systems and healthcare devices, complemented by roles as a teaching assistant and intern in electrical engineering. Sijie's educational background includes both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
