Christopher Benwell is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in cellular interactions and angiogenesis. Currently a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Quadram Institute since October 2018, Christopher investigates endothelial neuropilins using genetically engineered knockout mouse models. Proficient in aseptic cell culture techniques, cell-based assays, and molecular cloning, Christopher has also contributed to a nutrition clinical trial assessing blueberries’ impact on heart health as a PHD Researcher at the University of East Anglia. Previous experience includes an internship at Covance Laboratories Limited, where Christopher worked on assessing mAb binding and supported the development of assay kits for biosimilar projects. Christopher holds a First Class Honours BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of East Anglia, obtained in 2018.
