Arlaine Anne Amoyo-Brion, DVM, is a seasoned research scientist specializing in gnotobiology at the Quadram Institute since March 2016, focusing on providing germ-free (GF) mice for research purposes. Prior to this role, Arlaine served as a research officer at the National Cancer Centre Singapore from December 2009 to March 2016, where responsibilities included supervising and training animal care staff. Earlier experience includes working as a veterinary technician at Vet Practice Pte Ltd. and as a veterinarian at Animal House, where duties encompassed patient monitoring, surgical assistance, and routine health care. Arlaine holds a Master's degree in Laboratory Animal Science from RWTH Aachen University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines.
