Zhenjun Hu is a senior software engineer at QSimulate. Zhenjun previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2014 to December 2020. As a postdoctoral researcher, they were responsible for grading homework and exams, holding office hours, attending lectures, and moderating exams as a TA for physical chemistry II. Zhenjun also served as the co-chair of the student-select-seminar committee for two years, during which they were in charge of arranging and directing meetings of the committee and the organization of the Physical Chemistry Student Select Seminar at UIUC.

Zhenjun Hu's educational career includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Chemistry and Applied Mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington.

They work with Klaas Gunst - Lead Software Engineer, Europe, Jaden Tayag - Junior Software Engineer, and Fredy Aquino - Software Engineer. Their manager is Alexander Doran, Head of Software.
