Fatima Mohammed has extensive experience in child services and education, currently serving as a Child Protective Specialist at the NYC Administration for Children's Services since July 2019. In addition to this role, Fatima works as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at QSAC, a Waiver Service Provider at JCCA, and an Assistant Teacher in Early Childhood Education at BSA, all since 2016 and 2017. Fatima's career in social services began as a Unit Lead at the New York City Mission Society starting in 2013 and as a Peer Educator at BronxWorks from 2009 to 2011. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Counselor Education from LIU Brooklyn, obtained in 2021, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology from The City College of New York and the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership. Additionally, Fatima holds an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Intervention from Medgar Evers College, CUNY.
