Elwin Groenevelt is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the banking and microfinance sectors. Since October 2008, Elwin has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Qredits, while also holding a position as a Member of the Board of Directors at IMF Oportunitas SL since September 2018. Elwin's previous roles include serving as the President of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for the European Microfinance Network from May 2013 to October 2021, as well as various managerial positions at Fortis Bank Nederland from 2004 to 2008 and Generale Bank/Fortis Bank Nederland from 1996 to 2004. Elwin began a career in finance as a Management Trainee at Credit Lyonnais Bank Nederland from 1994 to 1996. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an FFP in Financial Planning from Federatie Financieel Planner, and studies at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
