David Cayll is a Process Development Engineer at Qorvo, Inc., specializing in CVD process development and control within the Thin Films Group since May 2023. Concurrently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2017, David focuses on elastic property measurement of multilayer graphene for capacitive ultrasonic micromachined transducers. Additional leadership roles include Chair and Vice Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Board, and a Project Manager at GraphAudio, where efforts were directed towards developing a graphene-based MEMS microphone. David holds a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
