Simon Glass has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From 1993 to 1999, they worked as a Director at Gamma, where they built a global arts/media production company. Simon achieved notable success, including events at prestigious venues and collaborations with acclaimed artists. From 2000 to 2001, they worked at Amadeus Capital Partners as a Strategy/Fund Raiser. In 2000, they also held a part-time position as a Strategic Planner at WPP, assisting with client acquisition and new media clients. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Lecturer at The University of Western Australia, teaching courses in Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, and Strategy. In 2005, they worked as a Consultant at Sydney Consulting. From 2006 to 2012, they held the position of Director at Westpac Institutional Bank, where they led new business initiatives and originated substantial new business. From 2012 to 2017, they held various roles at Keyvise, Roy Hill, and UWA Publishing. Since 2013, they have been the Founder and CEO & Director of qodeo, an investor-entrepreneur matching platform.
Simon Glass has a diverse education history. In 1980, they attended University College School, where they did not earn a specific degree or study a specific field. Later, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge from 1986 to 1989, where they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons) in Geography, Social and Political Sciences. In 1999, Simon pursued an MBA degree at the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 2000. In 2002, they briefly attended the London Business School, where they completed an Executive Education program in Corporate Finance.
