Emre Demirel has a comprehensive work experience in the banking sector. Emre started their career at VakıfBank in 2007, where they worked as a Programmer in Lean Banking. Emre collaborated with a McKinsey team to implement Lean Banking transformation initiatives and designed centralized operational processes.

In 2012, Demirel joined QNB Finansbank as a Process Engineer in the Business Development & Strategy Office. Emre quickly progressed through the ranks, becoming an Assistant Vice President in Performance Management & Analytics. In this role, they coordinated the 6Sigma program and managed a team of members from various business units. Emre also coached business units in project development, analysis, and presentation preparation.

Demirel then transitioned to the role of Assistant Vice President in the Strategy & Business Development Office, where they performed projects using comprehensive methods to increase efficiency and boost sales. Emre was responsible for the digital approval of general-purpose loans for retail customers and redesigned loan allocation systems. Emre Demirel has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University, which they obtained in 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University from 2007 to 2010. In 2013 and 2014, Emre achieved an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Özyeğin University. Lastly, in 2018 and 2019, Emre attended Koç University to study Data Science, although no specific degree was mentioned.
