Preston Richardson has worked for several companies since 2011. Preston began their career as a Crew Leader/ Harvest Manager for Mattawoman Creek Farms, LLC. in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Assistant for Dodson Seafood. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Student-Athlete for William & Mary. In 2015, they worked as a Quality Control Intern for Skanska USA, where they were responsible for assuring customers received top quality pre-cast concrete segments for the Bayonne Bridge in New Jersey. Preston also verified that segments from origination to shipment were in accordance to the blueprints and presented a PowerPoint summary at the end of their internship to administration about the summer's work. In 2016, they worked as a Financial Analyst Internship for Skanska USA. In 2017, they worked as an Operations Analyst Intern for Unisys. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist for Booz Allen Hamilton. Preston is currently working as a Senior Splunk Engineer for Qmulos.

Preston Richardson has a comprehensive education history. Preston earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics and Data Science from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary between 2014 and 2018. Preston then obtained a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the same school between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended Broadwater Academy and earned a High School diploma between 2010 and 2014.
