Andrew Lo is the Co-Founder of QLS Advisors since June 2019. Andrew is also the Charles E. and Susan T. Harris Professor at MIT since July 1988. In addition, they have worked at AlphaSimplex Group, where they served as the Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor from January 2018 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Investment Strategist at AlphaSimplex Group from January 1999 to December 2017. Andrew Lo has also held the position of W.P. Carey Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and 1988.
Andrew Lo completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Yale University, where they studied from 1977 to 1980. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, specializing in their field of study. Their doctoral studies took place from 1980 to 1984.
