Anja Kordowski is a Research Officer and PhD candidate specializing in Paediatric Brain Cancer Research at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute since October 2019. Prior roles include Registered Nurse at St. Josefs Hospital and at Berufsgen. Kliniken Bergmannsheil Klinikum der Ruhr-Universität, as well as Staff Researcher at MVZ Dr. Eberhard & Partner Dortmund. Anja has also gained experience as an intern at the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Oncology and Cancer Biology from The University of Queensland, a Master's degree in Brain Cancer Research from Cardiff University, and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Ruhr University Bochum, complemented by a qualification in nursing from Katholische Schule für Gesundheits- und Pflegeberufe, St Johannes Hospital Dortmund.
