Mark B.

Manager - Operations, Global Infrastructure at QIC

Mark B. has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career as an Audit Senior at Deloitte in 1994 and worked there until 1998. Following this, Mark worked as a finance contractor at European American Securities for a month before transitioning to Jarvis Construction for a brief contract from September to December 1998. In 1999, they worked as a finance contractor at UBS Investment Bank for six months.

In 2000, Mark joined JPMorgan Chase as Manager of the Trust accounting department in the Private Bank and stayed there until December 2004. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Aberdeen Asset Management as the Head of Fund Accounting for SVG Private Equity Funds. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the SVG Private Equity team in Alternative Operations, including financial reporting, valuations, data management, and analysis for investor reporting.

Mark then joined Queensland Health in 2014 as the Director of Accounting Services, where they served until January 2015. Mark then transitioned to IFAA as a Fund Accounting Team Leader, a role they held until June 2018.

Most recently, Mark has been employed at QIC, starting in June 2018 as the Manager of Operations for Global Infrastructure.

Mark B. holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the University of Natal, South Africa. Additionally, they have obtained the Chartered Accountant designation from both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ).
