Previously, Shemir worked as a Senior Communications Manager, creating materials for transportation agencies. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Staff Writer for Akers Media Group, producing content for various publications, and holding positions as a Reporter and Copy Editor at Citrus County Chronicle. Shemir began a career in media as an Editorial Intern at Tampa Bay Illustrated. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of South Florida.
