Ali Al-Khalifa is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Zones Development at the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) since January 2020, Ali oversees the regulation and oversight of Qatar's new free zones. Prior to this role, Ali held the position of Chief Executive Officer at ASTAD Project Management from 2010 to 2019, successfully establishing the organization as a leading project management company in Qatar with a significant market share. Ali also served as General Manager at Qatar Construction Materials Company (BENAA) for a brief period, where a comprehensive business plan and strategic direction were developed. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Team Leader and Engineering Manager at Occidental, where project delivery was achieved ahead of schedule. Ali holds an Executive Program degree from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Qatar University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and an Associate in Arts degree from Spokane Falls Community College.
