Kaya Hassan is an experienced HR professional currently serving as an HR Project Manager at Qatar Airways since April 2024. Previously, Kaya worked at Amazon as the HR People, Experience and Technology (PXT) Optimization Program Manager, where responsibilities included leading optimization efforts for global delivery services across 19 countries and managing complex strategic projects. Prior to Amazon, Kaya held the position of Senior HR Transformation Consultant at HSBC, focusing on people strategy and deploying key programs across a workforce exceeding 270,000 employees. Earlier roles include various consultancy positions at Direct Line Group, specializing in claims processes and project analysis, and training in project management at FDM Group. Kaya's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Financial Economics and two degrees in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London and the University of Hertfordshire.
