Inder Johar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.
From 2012 to present, Johar has been working at QASource as a Principal System Engineer. In this role, Johar has been responsible for leading and working on core technical areas of projects such as setup Failover cluster, Azure-Apps, AzureIAAS, Hyper-V, SCVMM, Active Directory, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS. Johar has also provided support to over 2500+ Virtual machines, including those used for development, quality assurance, and production, spanning three locations in the U.S.
From 2011 to 2012, Johar worked at Dell as a Security System Analyst. In this role, Johar managed AD, Mainframe, and Citrix-based applications. Johar was also responsible for the daily operation of enterprise VM/Wintel server systems, as well as installation, customization, and maintenance of operating systems and systems software products.
Prior to Dell, from 2008 to 2011, Johar worked at MothersonSumi Infotech & Designs Ltd. (MIND) as a System Administrator. In this role, Johar managed a team of three network engineers and was responsible for the smooth running of 5 servers and 155 computers across 3 group companies. Johar also oversaw software maintenance tasks such as managing Windows 2003 Server Active Directory domain, implementing security measures, and ensuring efficient backup management.
In 2006, Johar worked at Fine Technologies as a System Engineer. In this role, Johar developed systems to manage copyright-sensitive software, introduced ESET Nod 32 Antivirus, and handled the installation and maintenance of LAN for organizations.
Johar's work experience also includes a brief internship as a Graduate Trainee at Phoneytunes.com in 2006.
Inder Johar completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Panjab University between 2004 and 2008. Inder then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management through Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Inder Johar has obtained several certifications including Service-Now Fundamental from ServiceNow in March 2021, PowerShell 5 Essential Training from LinkedIn in July 2020, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in August 2019, HYPERCONVERGED INFRASTRUCTURE PROFESSIONAL from HyperConverged Solutions in October 2018, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Certified 2016 from Microsoft in September 2016, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in September 2014, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012. Inder Johar also holds various other Microsoft certifications including MCSA: Windows Server 2008, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008, MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Configuration, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration, and MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration. Moreover, they obtained an ITIL V3 certification from http://www.itil-officialsite.com in October 2011. There are also additional certifications from Microsoft, including Exam 246: Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud with System Center 2012, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Certified 2016, but the month and year of obtaining those certifications are not specified.
