Erin Gudger has held multiple roles in the engineering and medical fields since 2014. Erin began as an Undergraduate Researcher in Kun Zhang's Laboratory of Integrative Genomics in 2014 and in Nader Pourmand's Biosensors and Bioelectrical Technology Group in 2015. In 2016, Gudger was an Intern in the Snyder Lab and a Team Member in the Actuation Strategy for Internal Fixator Nerve Lengthening Medical Device. Erin was also a Graduate Student Team Member in the Dynamic Brace to Treat Early Onset Scoliosis in 2017. In 2018, Gudger was an Intern at Luma Therapeutics, an Academic Tutor at Aspire Education Project, and a Product Support Engineer at Verb Surgical Inc. Her most recent role is as a Software Technical Support Engineer at RefleXion Medical, a position they have held since 2020. In 2021, Gudger began working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Q'Apel Medical, Inc.
Erin Gudger received a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering:Biotechnology from UC San Diego in 2017, having attended from 2013-2017. In 2017, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2018.
