Vangelis Beletsiotis is a Molecular Biologist with extensive experience in molecular microbiology and quality control. Currently serving as Molecular Microbiology Manager at QACS - The Challenge Testing Laboratory since May 2019, Vangelis focuses on various aspects of microbial identification and monitoring, including rapid pathogen detection and food authenticity. Prior to this role, Vangelis spent over 15 years at DELTA FOODS SA in various positions, culminating as Molecular Microbiology Manager, where responsibilities included shelf life prediction and crisis management. Vangelis also has a strong academic background, having completed a Ph.D. in Genetics and Biotechnology at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, alongside extensive teaching experience as an assistant professor.
