Jon Perl has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jon currently serves as the CEO of QA Wolf since January 2019. Jon'srole involves helping engineering teams achieve and maintain 80% automated E2E test coverage efficiently.
Prior to that, Jon worked at Zipdrug, where they held multiple positions. Jon joined the company in December 2016 as the CTO and played a crucial role in developing a pharmacy care coordination platform. This platform connected pharmacists, health plans, and members and optimized medication adherence while modernizing the pharmacy experience. Jon also worked as a Consulting Engineer at Zipdrug from October 2016 to December 2016, and later as a Consulting Engineer from July 2018 to December 2018.
Before their stint at Zipdrug, Jon served as the Head of Technology at Dispatch, a company acquired by Vista. During their time there from November 2014 to May 2016, they built and led the engineering team and successfully launched products that significantly expanded the customer base and job volume.
Jon was also a Software Architect at Angie's List from February 2013 to March 2014. Jon introduced node and express into the tech stack while rebuilding the join funnel for rapid iteration.
Additionally, Jon's work experience includes being a Guest Lecturer at Purdue University from August 2013 to December 2013, a Co-founder at FoundOPS from February 2011 to February 2013, and the Owner of Perl Consulting LLC from May 2009 to February 2011.
Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Consultant at got Grease from May 2008 to September 2008, and at AB Couriers, Inc. from May 2007 to August 2007.
Jon Perl attended Purdue University from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Industrial Management and Computer Science. During their time at Purdue, they did not obtain a specific degree. Additionally, they hold a certification in Machine Learning Nanodegree from Udacity, however, the month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
