Sven Dochez has extensive work experience in the energy industry, particularly with Q8. Sven began their career with Q8 in 2002 as a Management Trainee and later became a Project Manager. From 2006 to 2010, they held various roles within Q8, including Retail Data & Projects Teamleader and Automat Manager Belgium. In 2010, Dochez became the General Manager of Q8Mazout, where they achieved strong business growth through brand management and sales. Sven then returned to Q8 in 2013 and took on roles such as Retail Operations Manager and Retail Operations and Marketing Manager Benelux. Sven is currently the Director of Supply, Direct Sales & Sustainable Fuels, responsible for transforming Q8 into a sustainable mobility partner and developing biofuels and electro mobility offerings. Dochez's work experience demonstrates their expertise in supply chain management, marketing, and sustainable energy practices within the energy industry.

Sven Dochez has a diverse education history. In 2022, they obtained a Certified Board Director degree from GUBERNA - Instituut voor Bestuurders and also completed a Director Effectiveness course from the same institution. In 2021, they completed a Board Effectiveness program at GUBERNA - Instituut voor Bestuurders - Institute for Board Directors. Previously, in 2019-2020, they attended TIAS School for Business and Society where they earned a degree in Sustainability Leadership with a focus on Sustainability Studies. In 2018, they completed a New Business Development program at Vlerick Business School. Sven also attended Vlerick Business School in 2015-2016 for an Advanced Management Program. In 2011-2012, they attended Antwerp Management School for a Master Class on Next Generation Leadership. Sven Dochez obtained a degree in Handelsingenieur in de Beleidsinformatica (Commercial Engineer) from the University of Antwerp between 1995-2002. Sven participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III) in 2000-2001. Prior to their higher education, they studied Latin and Mathematics at Vita et Pax from 1988-1995.
