Abigail Watanabe has extensive experience in laboratory and facility operations. Abigail began their career in 2002 as a Research Associate at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In 2006, they moved to Acceleron Pharma as a Staff Research Associate. In 2012, they joined Ember Therapeutics as an Associate Scientist I. From 2015 to 2019, Abigail was Senior Manager of Laboratory Operations at Selecta Biosciences. Most recently, they have been the Associate Director of Laboratory Operations at Casma Therapeutics since 2019, and is currently the Director of Laboratory and Facility Operations at Q32 Bio Inc. since 2022.

Abigail Watanabe is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience at Simmons University.
