Kara Palmore Dmytriw has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kara most recently worked as an Application Engineer at Q-Tran, Inc. starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Reggiani Lighting USA, Inc. for ten years, starting in December 2012, where they held the position of National Design Manager until January 2022.

In 2012, Kara had two internship roles, one at Illumination Arts LLC and the other at Melanie Freundlich Lighting Design, giving their exposure to the lighting design field. Before that, they worked at Palmore Design as an Office Assistant and Secretary from 1999 to June 2012.

Kara also gained experience in the education sector, serving as a Student Assistant at The New School from January 2011 to June 2011, working on events related to lighting design. Kara was also a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language at Joy School of English from December 2009 to May 2010.

In addition, Kara worked as an Engineering Technician at Thorlabs from March 2009 to August 2009 and as a Team Designer at Urban Studio Brooklyn, Habana Our Post Eco-Eatery in August 2007.
