Yury Selivanov is the co-founder and CEO of EdgeDB, an open-source object-relational database built on top of PostgreSQL. Yury is also the co-founder and CEO of MagicStack Inc., a team of software engineers based in Toronto. Yury is a Core Developer and PSF Fellow at the Python Software Foundation, where Yury maintains Python's asynchronous IO infrastructure. Yury has also served as an Advisor for Product Design at experience it inc. from 2013 to 2019. Yury holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
