Michael Botha has extensive experience in revenue management, working in various roles for different hotel companies. Michael started their career in 2003 as a Revenue Manager at Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa. Michael then worked as a Director of Revenue Management for Noble House Hotels & Resorts from 2006 to 2010. Michael joined Dolce Hotels & Resorts in 2010 as an Area Director of Revenue Management. In 2013, they moved to Noble House Hotels & Resorts and worked as an Area Director of Revenue Management until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked for Pyramid Hotel Group as an Area Director of Revenue Management. In 2019, they joined Benchmark Resorts and Hotels as a Regional Director of Revenue Management. Later in the same year, they returned to Pyramid Hotel Group as an Area Director of Revenue Management.

Michael Botha attended Hilton College for an unspecified period of time. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they studied Hospitality Management at the University of the Witwatersrand.
