Monisha White has worked for a variety of companies since 2013. In 2013, they were a Culinary Intern at Le Jardin des Plumes, where they spent five weeks in the main kitchen and three weeks as the assistant pastry cook, speaking French exclusively. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Gokhale Method Institute, Inc., where they contributed to the design and coding for a new iPhone app, using Swift to write the framework for communicating with an external device using low energy Bluetooth. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Gokhale Method Institute, Inc., where they designed and built software to provide real-time posture feedback based on input from a wearable sensor, and worked with machine learning and AI techniques to classify a user's position and posture quality. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft and a Product Manager at Gokhale Method. From 2017 to 2022, they were an IT Manager and Teacher Liaison/Teacher Liaison Manager at Gokhale Method, and is currently a People Operations Manager at Pyka.

Monisha White attended Stanford University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Henry M Gunn High School.
