Sankarshan Govender, CA(SA), currently serves as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services at PwC since September 2024. Prior to this role, Sankarshan was an Engagement Manager at Decision Inc. from January 2023 to August 2024, where responsibilities included empowering finance and retail clients through technology for improved decision-making. From January 2021 to December 2022, Sankarshan acted as the Digital Transformation Lead at TecEx, successfully guiding a cross-functional team in developing applications to enhance the efficiency of cross-border product movements. Earlier experience includes a tenure at PwC as a Senior Associate, specializing in assurance engagements for NASDAQ and JSE listed entities, contributing to the PwC Technology Leadership Council, and roles in various sectors including Financial Services and Manufacturing. Sankarshan completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy at the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 2011 and 2014, and the foundational education at Glenwood High School from 2006 to 2010.
