Jorge Zarco is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in the energy sector and government affairs. Currently serving as the Editor in Mexico for pv magazine since January 2018, Jorge received the Journalism Award in Solar Energy in 2018, notably securing first place in the interview category. Previously, Jorge worked at ABB México for nearly eight years, where responsibilities included establishing the Government Affairs office and shaping strategic objectives. As Editor in Chief of El mundo del Petróleo from April 2003 to July 2010, Jorge led a publication that became a benchmark in Mexico's hydrocarbons industry. Additionally, Jorge has a background in public sector collaboration as a TV producer for CONALEP and started a journalism career at Televisa, gaining varied experience in radio and television. Jorge holds a degree in Communication and Political Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and has pursued further education in business and government relations.
