Heather O'Meara

Heather O'Meara has been working in the graphic design industry since 2014. Heather began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Advertising for Humanity, where they ideated designs for branding and web projects for client pitches. In 2014, they were a Graphic Designer (Student Worker) at Neihoff Urban Studio and Community Design Center, where they developed visual language for community planning projects and designed large scale graphic posters. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Freelance Graphic Designer, creating Branding, Identity, Web, Motion Graphic and Marketing-focused graphic design work. During this time, they were also a Design / Marketing Assistant at The Hive: Center for Contemplation, Art, and Action, where they collaborated with the team to create the business strategy and created and executed marketing plans. In 2016, Heather worked as an Animator / Designer at Epipheo, where they animated, edited, and designed motion graphics for explainer videos, digitally published videos, and broadcast video ads. Heather then worked as a Production Design Intern at Barefoot Proximity from 2015 to 2016, producing and resizing banner ads, e-mail newsletters, and website designs following brand guidelines and creative direction. From 2019 to 2020, Heather worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Givaudan, designing and leading projects in print, video, and UI / UX for the Givaudan brand. Most recently, Heather worked as an Art Director at Push Collaborative and a Graphic Print and Digital Designer at Grandin Road, producing the Grandin Road interior & exterior decor print catalogue with pixel-perfect precision for pre-press while adhering to strict brand guidelines, designing motion graphics for Social Media, and preparing digital assets for web.

Heather O'Meara attended Eaton High School from 2008 to 2011. Heather then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Communication Design at the University of Cincinnati, which they completed in 2016. In May 2019, they obtained an Advanced Motion Methods certification from the School of Motion.
