Matthew Mixon has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering and technology field. Matthew currently holds the role of Chief Technology Officer at Pursuant Health, where they have been since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering and Product Development at Pursuant Health from January 2021 to October 2021. Before joining Pursuant Health, they were the Director of Software Engineering at the same company from August 2018 to January 2021.
In 2018, Matthew worked at Accushield as the VP of Engineering. During their time there, they successfully stabilized the platform by rewriting the Android kiosk, separating the system into smaller microservices, and optimizing and rearchitecting the incoming data streams.
From 2013 to 2018, Matthew served as the Chief Technology Officer at Yonder Careers, where they helped turn the founder's idea of creating a "Match.com" for jobs into a reality. Matthew matched employees with teams and positions based on their skills and culture fit.
Prior to their role at Yonder Careers, Matthew worked at UroMed as an Architect/Lead Engineer from 2009 to 2013. During their time there, they created a rules engine that examined every customer order and determined its eligibility and profitability based on insurance carriers' rules and reimbursement rates.
Matthew's earlier work experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Picsel Technologies from 2008 to 2009 and as a Senior Software Engineer at iAnywhere from 2006 to 2008. At iAnywhere, they were a core member of the RFID Anywhere Team and designed and developed the Enterprise Manager, allowing businesses to manage their remote networks of scanners, readers, and mobile devices.
In 2004, Matthew founded their own company, Devnetic LLC, where they served as the Owner/President until 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Abaco Mobile from 1999 to 2004.
