Mark Ireland has extensive work experience in the manufacturing technology field. Mark is currently working as the Manufacturing Technology Director at PurpleSector and McLaren Racing. Prior to these roles, they had a long tenure at the MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre where they served as both the Chief Engineer - Technology Strategy and Senior Technology Officer. Before that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Consultant at Atkins and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems Limited and Rolls-Royce.

Mark Ireland attended the University of Nottingham from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a 1st Class (Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management.
